A clean room is an enclosure construction specially built to control a variety of environmental factors in an airtight approach. Generally, a clean room controls cleanliness, temperature, humidity, air flow pattern, illumination, vibration, noise and other environmental factors based on an industry’s demand. The maximum allowable particle contaminants are also set for cleanliness class specification in a designated environment. Internationally, ISO-14644 is the most frequently adopted standard of cleanliness classification.
